If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit and soak up the sun, Pandosy Village is hosting the perfect event to do just that!
The annual Christmas in the Village event hosted by the Pandosy Village Business Association (PVBA) is taking place all afternoon and has some holly jolly fun for you to enjoy.
“It is a community event to just spread some Christmas cheer,” said Sharlene Perry, Vice President of PVBA.
“I think when you have a unique village like we have, doing something that promotes the area more so than just individual companies is a wonderful thing to do,” added Perry.
The event, which kicked off at 11 a.m. includes tons of holiday-themed fun to enjoy.
Santa Claus himself is onsite, until 2 p.m., and ready to meet the local little ones on his nice list and snap a photo.
The Wardrobe Boutique is just one of the many businesses in the area offering exciting deals until 6 p.m. tonight. Some of the sales include 15% off clothing and footwear, as well as a draw for a brand new Matt & Nat handbag.
Visitors will also be treated with tasty snacks donated by local restaurants of the area like cookies, coffee and hot chocolate from the nearby Marmalade Cat Cafe.
In addition to the merry ol’ time presented by the sweet treats, sales and santa, attendees can also leave with warmed hearts as the event is collecting donation for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter.
Those who bring a new, unwrapped gift for tots, moms and teens will be entered to when a gift basket filled with goodies from surround shops, valued at $450.
It’s not too late to get out and give back, Santa is onsite until 2 p.m., with the treats and sales carrying on until 6 p.m.
