Pair of occupants injured in early morning Lake Country crash

One person is in critical condition after a single-vehicle collision this morning in Lake Country.

At approximately 8:15 am, the Lake Country RCMP responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Pelmewash Parkway near Cornwall Road.

An SUV travelling southbound on Pelmewash Parkway had gone off the road and left one occupant with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and the other occupant in critical condition.

“Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact Lake Country RCMP at 250-762-2288 and reference police file number 2024-44402,” wrote the RCMP.

The RCMP added that traffic will be impacted in the area as police analysts complete their assessment.
