RDCO reminds residents to renew business licences online due before the end of the month

The deadline for business operating in the Centra Okanagan east or west electoral areas is fast approaching.

Business licences issued by the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) must be renewed by the end of the month.

If you don’t pay by Dec. 31, you will be issued a $30 penalty.

Renewal notices are being distributed only through email due to the suspended mail delivery caused by the Canada Post Strike, the RDCO says.

Residents are being encouraged to use the online renewal/application options by visiting the RDCO’s website.

Payments can still be made at the RDCO office at 1450 KLO Road.

However, the office will be closed from Dec. 25 to Jan.1.

If your email has changed, your business is no longer operating or there has been a change of ownership, be sure to advise the RDCO Business licensing department by emailing business@rdco.com.
