The City of Penticton has released the schedule for this summer’s pop-up parks.
Each pop-up park will include yard games, music, crafts and more to recognize Recreation and Parks month.
“Everyone is encouraged to get outdoors, explore our local parks, and take advantage of the abundant recreational and leisure activities available in our community,” said Darcey Godfrey, recreation business supervisor.
Here’s a look at the schedule:
Arasook Park 11 am-12:30 pm 300 Westminster Avenue East – Saturday June 3
Baskin Park 11 am-12:30 pm 2435 Baskin Street – Saturday, June 10
Dunant Park 11am-12:30 pm 186 Dunant Place – Saturday, June 17
Saturday, June 24 (two opportunities):
Granby Park 11-12:30 pm 90 Granby Avenue
McGregor Park 1-2:30 pm 2458 McGregor Drive
