Summertime + live music = a better summer! Who doesn’t agree? This Friday is the kick off to Rock the Sun.
Come down to Gyro Park this Friday evening to listen to Young'uns serenade you from 7 pm until 9 pm.
This is also a free event! All you need is some buddies, a blanket or chairs, some snacks and a great attitude for good vibes. There will be a different musician every week!
After a chill night of listening to live music (or any other activity), start your Saturday morning off right with a little trip to the Downtown Community Market.
We know this happens every Saturday during the summer, but we want to highlight it more! Surround yourself in the local goodness the Okanagan has to offer. You should be proud!

See you Downtown from 8:30 am to 2 pm this Saturday!
This year marks the 50th anniversary season of Monster Trucks and you can take in the action this Saturday and Sunday from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Penticton Speedway.
There will be trucks crushing cars, doing wheelies, donuts and more! Gates open at 6 pm to see the drivers and view the monster trucks.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $25 for adults and $20 for youth. Kids 10 and under get in for free! Another bonus – free parking!
The Peach Classic Triathlon is back – for its 37th run!
The race starts on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Rotary Park.
If you see any of these triathletes around the city, make sure you give them a holler of support!
