Power outage at UNBC

Looks like students get an extra day to study, relax and stay in.

UNBC’s power has been out since 4:46 a.m. As a result, all day classes will be cancelled until 5 p.m. at the earliest.

Hydro crews are on site working to fix the issue, however, it is not known when power will be restored.

An emergency generator is providing power and lighting for the time being.
