10 flights through BC added to the province's COVID-19 exposure list

The BC Centre for Disease Control is warning residents over the latest batch of flights affected by COVID-19.

According to the BC CDC, 10 more flights through the province between Oct. 11 and 18 had passengers test positive for the virus. Of the 10 trips, three were international while one was domestic.

On Oct. 11, WestJet Flight 688 from Vancouver to Saskatoon had a carrier between rows 16 and 22.

Two days later, two different Air Canada/Jazz flights had exposures. Flight 8069 from Vancouver to Victoria and Flight 8581 from Saskatoon to Vancouver had cases in unreported rows.

Oct. 16 had three different flights with positive tests. The cases were across various rows on Air Canada Flight 860 from Vancouver to London, Air Canada/Jazz Flight 8556 from Victoria to Calgary and WestJet Flight 479 from Calgary to Kelowna (13-19).

On Oct. 17, another three exposures were recorded. Those cases were found on Air Canada Flight 860 from Vancouver to London, United Airlines 722 from Denver to Vancouver and WestJet Flight 197 from Calgary to Victoria.

The next day, Air Canada Flight 184 from Vancouver to Toronto had a case between rows 31 and 36.
