Kokanee is doing their part to help protect B.C.’s outdoors.
For the month of August, one dollar from every 24-can case of Kokanee beer, purchased in B.C. liquor stores, will go towards wildfire relief efforts.
The company is hoping to work directly with local communities to see where the funds are needed most.
"Kokanee has proposed a terrific program that will help provide much needed support to BC communities affected by the wildfires this summer," says General Manager and CEO of the BC Liquor Distribution Branch, Blain Lawson.
Earlier this month, the company donated 48,000 cans of water to residents and firefighters in western Canada as part of their Canadian Disaster Relief Program.
