The man accused of shooting a Kamloops RCMP officer will go before the provincial courts on December 7th, 2015 for a preliminary inquiry.
Kenneth Knutson is scheduled to appear in the Kamloops courts at 9:30 a.m., where evidence available will determine if this incident can proceed to trial in B.C. Supreme Court.

The 36-year-old is facing four charges, including the attempted murder of RCMP Constable Jean-Rene Michaud.
Michaud was shot in early December of 2014 after he pulled over a vehicle in the Bachelor Heights neighbourhood of Kamloops.
Although he was dressed in his full uniform, including a bulletproof vest, the RCMP officer was treated for life-threatening injuries. The Constable is now recovering from multiple surgeries.
Following the incident, police scoured the area for Knutson, searching for the suspect for almost 12 hours.
Knutson made a brief court appearance back in July for a fix-a-date, which was promptly postponed.
