New poll says a third of Millennials disapprove of Christy Clark

The provincial election is officially underway and for some it will be the first time they’ve ever cast a ballot.

The BC Liberals have held five straight majority governments but their political dynasty in British Columbia may be in jeopardy if the Millennial vote turns out.

A brand new poll of British Columbian’s has shown that a whopping 71% of respondents aged 18 to 34 are not impressed with Clark’s performance up to this point.

Broken down even further, the poll found 27% of respondents said they “somewhat disapprove” of her, while the remaining 44% “strongly disapprove.”

Overall, Clark’s approval rating has dropped to 30%, while BC NDP leader John Horgan leads the pack with 37%.

BC Green Party leaders Andrew Weaver's approval rating climbed six points since February to land him in the middle with 35% approval.
