BC RCMP is investigating after an unknown man allegedly broke into a woman's apartment and sexually assaulted her.
According to police, the incident occurred in the 12900 block of 101A Avenue in Surrey around 6:40 am on Saturday. Upon arrival, officers located a woman who reported that she had been sexually assaulted by the suspect.

Emergency services transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned man in his 30s who stands at 5'6." At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark clothing.
