An Abbotsford woman was arrested on Tuesday night for allegedly driving while impaired.
The 24-year-old was pulled over around 11 pm after the Abbotsford Police Department received a report of her driving through red lights at a high rate of speed.
Officers tracked her down and saw her driving her minivan on its tire rims along Walker Crescent.
After being pulled over, a roadside breathalyzer test was conducted and the woman failed.
It was also discovered that her five-year-old child was in the backseat of the vehicle, unsecured in a booster seat.
The woman was arrested and charges for impaired operation of a vehicle have been recommended.
The child was left in the care of their father.
