Police in southern BC are reminding residents to be good to their neighbours following a peculiar incident in Trail recently.
According to police, on Nov. 14 at 4:26 pm, officers responded to a verbal dispute between two residents who were clearing snow off their properties on Columbia Avenue.
Police were told that a woman was throwing snow from her property onto the pile in her neighbour's yard. The man allegedly asked her to stop but was met with rude comments and gestures.
"The neighbour reportedly approached the woman who raised her snow shovel at him," wrote Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey. "The woman was allegedly pushed to the ground by her neighbour to avoid being hit by the shovel."
At this point, the matter is still under investigation.
