(Update: Jan 22, 2025 @ 2:05 pm): Police have confirmed that a missing 19-year-old woman has been found safe and sounds after being reported missing this past weekend.
The RCMP say she is safe and sound.
(Update: Jan 22, 2025 @7:55 am): Police have provided an update about a missing person, Searra Corke, from Trail.
It is believed that Searra may be associated to a 2024 grey Jetta Volkswagen (4-door sedan), bearing Alberta licence plate 0CU716.
Police ask that if you see this vehicle, or Searra Corke, please call you local police immediately.
(Jan. 21, 2025): RCMP are searching for a young woman from Trail who was reported missing this past weekend.
According to police, they received the report from 19-year-old Searra Corke’s family on Sunday 6:55 am.
Sierra was reportedly last seen by her extended family at 7 pm on Jan. 16, 2025, and was in the company of her brother, Kael Corke, and another man and a woman.
Police said she may have also been seen at a business in Trail on January 19 around 8:30 pm by someone who recognized her.
She is described as female, standing 5’5’’, 150 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair.
“Our investigation reveals that she likely went willingly with her brother; however, we would like to confirm this due to concerns for her well-being stated by her extended family. Searra, if you read this, please contact the Trail Detachment to speak to an officer to verify that you are okay,” says Sgt. Wicentowich.
