Police in southern BC had to teach a young driver a lesson recently after some poor decisions on the road.
According to RCMP, on May 13, highway patrol officers were conducting laser speed enforcement on Hwy 99 near Squamish when they saw a vehicle travelling excessively fast.
The vehicle was recorded going 152 km/h in a 90 km/h zone.
After pulling over the driver, the officer learned they only had their "L," which they weren't displaying on their vehicle.
The vehicle's two other passengers were under 25-years-old, the legal age to supervise for a learner.
Police had to impound the vehicle and issue a ticket to the driver. All passengers then taxied to their destination.
