Barring a last-minute property tax payment, a snazzy beach-front Lake Country mansion will go up for auction later this month.
The property will hit the auction block on Sept. 25, 2023, due to unpaid municipal taxes in the amount of nearly $80,000.
The Whiskey Cove mansion is one of eight that will be auctioned off at the District of Lake Country’s municipal hall for the same reason.
Any of the eight properties could be removed from the list if the delinquent property taxes are paid, along with interest, before Sept. 25.
The home at 15686 Whiskey Cove Rd. is currently listed for sale by Jane Hoffman Realty at $10.2 million.
At just over 6,000 square feet, it has seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, additional guest accommodations, a gym and a private dock along 120 feet of shoreline.
“Main home features expansive main floor living areas, a huge great room with a two-way fireplace that is shared with the dining area,” the listing notes.
“The dining room seats 18 with ample room for more if needed! Chef-worthy island kitchen with top of the line appliances.”
Beyond the fact that it’s a lakefront property, the outdoor space is truly incredible, with a firepit area, full dining room and kitchen, hot tub and plenty of lawn space on both sides of the home.
