Originally from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Ale Morales is now living the dream with her husband and two daughters in the South Okanagan.
“My dream career is also here in real estate, helping people find their dream home,” says Ale, which is pronounced like Allie, and is short for Alejandra.
“I transfer that enthusiasm to my clients. It's incredible to live, work and play in Penticton between two lakes and amongst all the wineries."
Ale works with Royal LePage Penticton through her own Ale Morales Real Estate Corporation., She met the man who would become her husband seven years ago while he was vacationing in Puerto Vallarta.
"But, he's originally from Manitoba, so when it came time for me to move to Canada with him we compromised on location and decided on the South Okanagan for better weather and lifestyle," she says with a laugh.
After incorporating in 2016, Ale started her real estate career in the South Okanagan.
While pregnant with their first daughter in 2018, Ale made a splash in her new career with 2% Realty and won Agent of the Year.
"My passion is my family and my job," she says. "So, the baby came to work with me.”
That passion also makes Ales approachable, honest and dedicated to her clients. After joining Royal LePage in March, Ale won a gold award with the company for 2020. After giving birth to her second daughter in October 2020, she achieved platinum level.
In Mexico, Ale had two careers. One, selling real estate to locals and tourists, a natural calling for the daughter of a man who has been a development manager in Puerto Vallarta for 30 years. The second was general manager for international development for Friendly Vallarta Hotel.
Some of her clients were Air Canada, WestJet, Air Transat and Sunwing, who included Friendly Vallarta accommodation in their all-inclusive holiday packages.
"I would travel to Canada three or four times a year to meet tour operators," she says. "So I knew a lot about Canada and loved it."
The market is always changing, so Ale’s expertise as a realtor in the South Okanagan keeps clients up to date and provides guidance and support throughout every transaction. She helps clients review and understand the multiple documents involved, negotiate the best price and look out for their best interest in either buying or selling.
“At the end of this, it creates a bond and we become like family, which is the most rewarding feeling,” says Ale.
“I always aim to have happy clients, which is why this is more to me than just a job. Home is the biggest life purchase some will make and I am so happy to be able to guide people through this process. It is about connecting people, whether they be young families, those downsizing or relocating to the right property, neighbourhood and lifestyle.”
Ale’s new project is representing Skaha Hills, a luxury home development overlooking Skaha Lake and the Valley with multiple properties available in the fall.
