Jeff Cox is back once again with Rick Maddison on Rick and Friends, and this time the duo share their thoughts on the health services in Canada, delays at the airport and the all new cryptocurrency.
The pair discuss punctuality and the significance of being on time. Although Maddison claims he has a reputation for being late sometimes, Cox doesn't seem to hold grudges against those who are late.
Issues surrounding airport delays and canceled flights were spoken of by Cox who described his recent experience at Pearson airport in Toronto. He unfortunately was hit with delays and massive lines at the kiosk desks.
Cox expresses his opinions on Canadian healthcare services, acknowledging its success but also recognizing some issues regarding wait times and disparities across provinces.
He strongly believes we should all have healthcare, but reflects on the tough job that nurses and doctors endure daily.
They turn their focus to museums, in which Cox explains their importance and that “we never want to forget history.”
He does however question the spending of billions of dollars on museums and feels this money could be better spent elsewhere.
Cox is intrigued by cryptocurrency and describes it as “the coolest study going on the planet right now,” and has personally invested into it.
Tune in to this episode to hear more about Cox’s experience flying post COVID-19 and possible ways to improve healthcare in Canada.
