(UPDATE: Dec. 4 @ 12:15 pm) - Crews have managed to open a single lane of alternating traffic at the site of a "vehicle incident" near Christina Lake.
As a result, traffic is slowly getting through the area on Hwy 3.
Heavy delays can still be expected in the area, however.

Hwy 3 has been closed in both directions near Christina Lake for what DriveBC is calling a “vehicle incident.”

Hwy 3 now joins the growing list of closed highways in the BC Interior.
Hwy 1 is shut down until 4 pm due to avalanche control, while Hwy 5 is closed northbound with heavy delays southbound.
