A Christmas Carol to return to Craigdarroch Castle this month

A beloved Christmas tradition is back again at Craigdarroch Castle.

Jason Steven's annual performance of A Christmas Carol begins Dec. 14, 2022.

The magical performances will take place in the castle’s very own dance hall.

Performances will be taking place at 6 pm and 8 pm Wednesdays through Saturdays until Dec. 23, 2022.

According to organizers, Charles Dickens himself toured Europe and North America delivering staged readings of his famed tale, and now Stevens channels the same spirit within the historic walls of Craigdarroch Castle.

“The holiday season is always a special time at the Castle,” says John Hughes, Craigdarroch Castle’s executive director. “We look forward to welcoming guests for self-guided tours throughout December, as well the return of one of our favourite holiday traditions, the one-man version of A Christmas Carol, performed by actor Jason Stevens.”
