Pacific Coastal Airlines is set to launch its improved B.C. connectivity to the east and west for YLW passengers.
Kelowna (YLW) to Cranbrook (YXC) service has been increased to seven days a week, and the Kelowna to Victoria (YYJ) route will now have an early morning departure allowing for a full business day in Victoria.
A late evening departure from Kelowna to Victoria on Fridays has also been added.
“We appreciate Pacific Coastal Airlines’ ongoing commitment to the community, offering more flights to and from Kelowna,” said Sam Samaddar, Airport Director.
“YLW proudly served nearly 1.89 million passengers in 2017 and the expanded fall service will help us continue to grow in 2018.”
“Our fall schedule change is completely focused towards the Kelowna traveler,” said Pacific Coastal Airlines’ Jenelle Hynes, Business Development and Customer Service Manager, Okanagan Kootenay Region.
“With the early morning flights and up to four flights a day to Victoria on Friday, it really gives our passengers the opportunity to maximize their stay on the Island or connect to the rest of B.C. It's because of the consistent growth in this market that we’re able to add these flights and better serve the Okanagan region.”
The new flight schedule will begin on Sept. 4, 2018. For more information about YLW, click here.
