“MindFest is a local campaign to foster the community’s enthusiasm and support for everything psychology,” wrote the university.

“As one of the top research-based universities in the country, the University of British Columbia Okanagan wants to share the brain-related research underway at our facilities with the broader community.”

The event is set to occur June 26th from 6 to 8 pm and will begin with presentations, followed by food, a chance to socialize and music by Ben Klick.

Attendees may vote on which project they feel benefits the community the most and at the end of the night a raffle draw will be held, with prizes from local businesses to be won.

The event is free to attend for all ages and more information can be found online at this link.
