The RCMP are investigating a “linen heist” on Quadra Island.
According to police, the alleged thieves made off with over $1,500 worth of linens from the Taku Resort.
The heist took place on June 13, and was reported on June 23.
The manager at the resort said that someone broke into the laundry room and took rags, towels and bed sheets.
They also stole some money from a cash register.
“The resort has since increased their security and has added more cameras,” said the RCMP.
