Police said that shortly after 7 am on Sunday, officers responded to a report of an in-progress outside a multi-unit residential building in the 300-block of Harbour Road.

Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect within the locker.

Officers searched the man and found a number of weapons, including knives and a cattle prod. He also had several break-in instruments, night vision binoculars, and a significant quantity of methamphetamine.

Officers transported the man to VicPD cells where he was later released from custody with a court date and conditions.

He faces recommended charges of break and enter, possession of break in instruments, and carrying a concealed weapon.
