As the year comes to a close we thought we'd take a look back at all the videos we produced this year. Here are the ones that got the most interest with our viewers.
#5. The Kelowna Airport proved it can accommodate the largest aircraft, but it's a rarity that it welcomes something like the Boeing-747SP that rolled up to Kelowna flightcraft in May.
#4. Also in May, we introduced you to Jessica LeHegarate as she strolled Bernard Avenue topless. LeHegarate was happy to explain why she would take such a stroll, and viewers took quite an interest in what she had to say.
#3. Homelessness is a big issue in Kelowna, and a lot of the problems fall on the RCMP to deal with. But viewers were pleasantly surprised to see how compassionate some of their members can be as they patrol Leon Avenue. It is a must see.
#2. In September we were at Costco where we shared with shoppers the theory put forward by then West Kelowna Mayor Doug Findlater, that the store may be moving to the other side of the lake. Apparently, our viewers are keenly interested in what may lie ahead for the popular outlet.
#1. Our number one video featured a once proud junior hockey player humbled by drug abuse. We found former Vernon Viper Kevyn Kirbyson on the street and brought him into our studio for an interview. It was an emotional interview and an eye-opener, that ended up topping our list of most viewed videos of the year.
