If you’re looking for a way to make the most of your weekend, we are here to tell you about the notable events and activities coming to town.
The Kelowna Fan Experience returns this Friday and is set to bring a weekend jam-packed with Pop Culture Fun!
Friday night kicks things off at 6 p.m. with a glamour zone at the KCT prior to a performance of “SUPERSTAR!” with Sharron Matthews. The Retro lounge will be open at the black box theatre with Virtual Reality gaming at the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
Saturday is when the real magic happens. Featuring everything from celebrity meet and greets, movie prop exhibits, and film showings to a cosplay competition, vendors village tons of games, and more. The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. and carries all throughout Kelowna Cultural District.

Callinmetalheads heads, or those of you who just love to support local musicians, the Saturday night will bring an opportunity of epic proportions to five up and coming metal acts.
Starting at 7 p.m., Muninn’s Post will host our city’s first ever preliminary round of the Canadian Wacken Metal Battle. Four Kelowna bands, and one from Prince George will put their best set list forward in an intense battle of the bands.
The winner will move forward to compete against Canada’s best in Calgary, before potentially being chosen to represent our Country at Germany’s Wacken Open Air Festival.
Advance tickets are $10 at The Post, or $15 at the door.
The winter can really put a damper on your golf game, but never fear, spring is almost here!
Thanks to the recent shift in weather, the Kelowna Driving Range has opened for the season at 3810 Casorso Rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
Get back into the swing of things and prep for the hot summer days on the links that lie ahead.
If you already plan on spending the weekend at Big White, be sure to head to the Village Centre Mall at 7 p.m.
Spend your evening sipping and sampling some of the best whiskeys in the world in addition to delicious BC brews.

SilverStar Mountain Resort is set to host it’s very first SEISMIC Mountain Festival from March 22nd to 31st.
An event which combines the best parts of winter sports, live music, art, Okanagan food and more, Seismic Fest will have something for everyone.
This weekend includes boardstyle and slopestyle competitions, demonstrations, live music from acts like Chipko Jones, night skiing and after parties!
