West Kelowna–Peachland candidates set to take questions at open meeting

The three candidates vying to become the MLA for West Kelowna–Peachland have been invited to appear at an event in West Kelowna.

Those candidates are: former BC United – and now independent – candidate Stephen Johnston, the Conservative Party of BC’s Macklin McCall and the BC NDP’s Krystal Smith.

The Greater Westside Board of Trade’s Provincial Election Forum is set to begin at 6 pm tonight and run till 7:30 pm.

It’s open to the general public as well as the board of trade’s members.

Questions have been submitted in advance, the organization told KelownaNow. No questions will be accepted from the floor.

The event will be held at Emmanuel Church on Hebert Road.

Doors open at 5:30 pm.
