West Kelowna’s Grizzli Winery will be hosting their annual Fall Fest Charity Concert and Outdoor Market in support of Paws It Forward Dog Rescue on Oct. 7.
Attendees will have the opportunity to shop local, sip on wine-based festival cocktails, and listen to live music while dancing under the stars from 5 to 9 pm.
Some of the family-friendly activities include a photo booth and outdoor lawn games, apple bobbing with chopsticks, craft and colour stations, and a fire pit with s’mores.
Additionally, there will be free face painting by Create a Wave on a first-come, first-served basis.
Room To Dance, featuring JC and Andy Plett, will be providing the musical entertainment for the evening with a mix of country, classic rock and pop oldies.
All of the ticket proceeds will go towards Paws It Forward, who will be on site with their dogs in need of foster families or forever homes.
“With being 100% volunteer-based and not having a facility or shelter, we rely on the families in the community to provide a safe, loving place for the dogs,” explains Jilly-Ann Gibson, the vice president of Paws It Forward.
