The Chiefs evened the game in the third period, with Keanu Yamamoto earning the power play goal.
The Rockets spent too much time in the penalty box on Friday, allowing the Chiefs five power play opportunities. Tempers were obviously running high as fighting majors and a 10-minute misconduct were handed out.
Strong defensive play kept the Chiefs' offence at bay, allowing them just 21 shots on net. The Rockets on the other hand posted 37 shots on Chiefs netminder Jayden Sittler.
The Rockets will jump on the bus and head back to Kelowna for a matchup with the Brandon Wheat Kings at Prospera Place on Saturday, December 3rd. Don't forget to bring a teddy bear to the game, as the annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place and all donated stuffed teddy bears will be delivered by the Rockets team to children at Kelowna General Hospital.
Tickets are available for the game through www.selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
