Kamloops Blazers start their season tonight

The Kamloops Blazers are set to start their Western Hockey League season tonight.

After a perfect 7-0 preseason, Kamloops comes in as the 5th-ranked team in the entire Canadian Hockey League.

Prior to the game, a "Party on the Plaza" will take place where residents and fans can get their barbecue on, as well as participate in a variety of activities.

Kamloops' first game comes against the US Division's Spokane Chiefs. Puck drop is set for 7 pm at the Sandman Centre.
