Pre-noon start for Canucks-Wild game 3 as both teams look to take stranglehold on series

The Vancouver Canucks bounced back from a tough game one to win an all-important game two on Tuesday night.

Goals from Tanner Pearson, JT Miller, Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat led Vancouver to a big 4-3 win, tying the best-of-five series at a game apiece.

Game three goes today and it’ll be quite a different feel, as the start time is around eight hours earlier than the first two games of the series.

That’s right, the game gets going from the Edmonton bubble at 11:30 am PT, meaning most that work a typical weekday shift at work will need to get creative to find a way to watch.

After losing Tyler Toffoli and Adam Gaudette to injuries in game one, the Canucks went down another man when Michael Ferland left game two.

Ferland has now left the bubble to return to his home in Winnipeg with an undisclosed injury and it’s expected that Zack MacEwen will draw into the lineup in his place.

However, nothing has officially been confirmed by head coach Travis Green and we likely won’t know for sure until the players step onto the ice for the pre-game warmup.

The winner of today’s game will have a chance to close out the series on Friday night when the teams face off in game four at 7:45 pm PT.
