The TRU WolfPack men's baseball team was in action on Wednesday, this time in a doubleheader with Yavapai in Prescott, Arizona.
Game one wouldn't go the WolfPack's way as they were hammered by the Roughriders 8-1.
Fourth-year Bryant Jameus got the start for the WolfPack and he didn't fare great. Jameus went five innings, giving up three earned runs while striking out three batters. Wyatt Versluis would take over for the remainder of the game where he would give up five earned runs.
Connor McKenzie was the lone bright spot for the Pack in game one as his walk would eventually turn into a run scored.
In game two, TRU bounced back with a 5-2 win thanks to a stellar performance from CCBC all-star Tyler Hodder.
Hodder would throw a complete game while giving up just two runs and striking out five batters. Liam Rihela went 2/3 on the day and drove in a pair of runs. Malik James went 1/3 and added an RBI of his own.
Up next the Pack battle the Paradise Valley Community College Pumas at 3 p.m. in Scottsdale.
