Tiger is back.
The 42-year-old capped off the PGA Tour season in amazing fashion on Sunday as he held off a star studded field to win the Tour Championship.

It’s his first professional win in five years and the 80th victory of his illustrious career, putting him just two wins behind Sam Snead for the most all time on tour.
He was even close to finding a way to win the season long FedEx Cup, which comes with a $10 million paycheque, but the double victory wasn’t meant to be.
What a day, what a year #FedExCupChampion 🏆Congratulations @TigerWoods #GOAT on your 8️⃣0️⃣th @PGATOUR title. Thank you #Team🌹for all the support and messages. jR pic.twitter.com/Cu1Wee3ofz

Justin Rose managed to record a birdie on the tournament’s final hole to cement his spot a top the FedEx Cup standings, but a par or worse would have given that trophy to Tiger as well.
Even without the FedEx Cup, Tiger’s Tour Championship victory had the golf world and beyond buzzing and the scene on the 18th hole was nothing short of electric.

As Tiger and his playing partner, Rory McIlroy, walked up the fairway, the entire crowd was allowed to converge behind the pair and follow them up towards the green.
It was like a scene out of a movie, with people chanting his name or “U.S.A.” in anticipation of next weekend’s Ryder Cup.
No individual will ever create these scenes in sport again. Tiger Woods is a phenomenal #greatestsportspersonever pic.twitter.com/2LWkL7g5D3

Following the victory, Tiger was clearly emotional as he received his trophy and thanked the fans.
“I just can’t believe I pulled this off.”
