West Kelowna Warriors fall to Penticton Vees in dominant 6-0 win

The West Kelowna Warriors and Penticton Vees were in action on Saturday night, this time for another Okanagan Cup matchup.

Penticton would keep their perfect record intact following a dominant 6-0 win at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Jackson Niedermayer would give the Vees the lead early in the first period. Following his goal, Buffalo Sabers' prospect Matteo Costantini would put the Vees up two.

Penticton would open the game up in the second period, scoring three goals in 20 minutes. Stefano Bottini, Finlay Williams and Ryan Upson all got in on the scoring fun.

In the third, Devlin O'Brien would score the team's sixth goal. Goaltender Yani Perets stopped all 29 shots he faced to shutout the Warriors.

Up next, the Warriors are back in action against the Vernon Vipers in Kal Tire Place on Friday. Puck drop is at 6 pm.
