It was quite the night for Elon Musk and Tesla.
As planned, the company unveiled its revolutionary all-electric semi-truck on Thursday night, but it came with a twist.

Once the semi-truck unveil was over, the back doors of the truck opened up to reveal the brand new Tesla Roadster.
The semi truck is really something to behold, not only because of its sleek look but what it can do with no gas.
It goes from 0 to 60 km/h in five seconds with an empty trailer and even at its maximum weight, which is 80,000 lbs, it gets to 60 mph in 20 seconds.

The truck has a range of 500 miles while going 60 mph at max weight and only takes 30 minutes of charging to get 400 miles of range.
The semi also has a drag coefficient of .36, which is sleeker than a Bugatti Veyron supercar.
Its interior is equally as impressive, with dual 15-inch screens for navigation and the seat placed in the middle of the cab, which is protected by a shatterproof windshield.

As for the new Tesla Roadster, which was a surprise unveil, it raises the bar just as much as the semi-truck.
The four-seat, three motor car has a range of 620 miles and it goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds.

A price hasn’t been unveiled for the semi-truck, but the new Roadster will cost $200,000 and a $50,000 deposit will be needed to reserve one.
