First day of spring brings even hotter temperatures

Good morning Kamloops!

Today is the first day of spring! Although it is the first day of spring, it will feel more like early May!

Wednesday is the peak of the ridge over British Columbia, meaning today will be the warmest thus far!

We are looking to smash the average temperature record for the day which was set back in 1960 at only 17.8 degrees. The forecast high for today is 20 degrees.

Tuesday was our warmest day since Late October, at 16.8 degrees. Tomorrow will be similar to today, more wall to wall sunshine and temperatures in the upper teens to near 20.

A change could come later in the week though so stay tuned!
