It is another beautiful day in Kamloops today, much like yesterday, the sun is continuing to shine.
Yesterday's 15.9 degrees was our warmest day since October 26th of last year when it hit 18.7 degrees. That temperature breaks the previous record of 15.8 degrees set back in 1991.
Bachelor Heights was the warmest of any place in Kamloops as it hit 18.3 degrees.
Plan on sunshine and very warm temperatures again today. Highs today will reach near 18 degrees, about one degree of the previous record set in 1997. I think we will fall just short of breaking another temperature record.
If heading out, be sure to bring lot’s of fluid, wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat! Even though it is March, the UV index is getting stronger, and with today’s warmth and sunshine, the UV index is Moderate to high.
