Kelowna weather: Warm and sunny, but chance of storms in afternoon

A mixed bag of weather is on the cards in Kelowna today.

The morning is expected to be mainly sunny, according to Environment Canada.

By the afternoon, clouds are forecast to roll in.

There will be a risk of thunderstorms by mid-afternoon, with gusts of up to 40 km/hr and showers a possibility.

The temperature high today is predicted to be about 27ºC.

Overnight, calmer winds are expected, alongside a low of about 14ºC.
