Kelowna skies appear to have lost their smoky veil but are expected to trade them in for thunderclouds in the near future.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Kelowna and residents are already seeing the preceding winds start to shake up their Saturday evenings.

Here is what Kelowna looks like from your point of view: the skies are receiving some overcast, the wind is stirring the streets and the lake is rallying to white caps and pounding the beachline.
Okanagan Lake is so diabolical that it has suffocated a boat near the shores of Rotary Beach.
