VIDEO: KelownaNow weekend weather update: Jan. 14-16, 2022

Well, the warm weather this week melted lots of the snow on the roads, the only downside is we’re seeing major muddy puddles around town.

That trend will continue for the next few days as we’re expected to see temperatures stay above zero during the day.

According to Environment Canada, we’ll see a high of 3°C today with a mainly cloudy sky, in the evening we’ll drop down to about 1°C with the clouds sticking around into Saturday morning.

On the 15th, a mix of sun and cloud and a warm high of 4°C! Overnight, the sky will clear up and things will get a bit chilly as we predict a low of -4°C.

Sunday there are more clouds and a high of 0°C. Later in the afternoon, EC anticipates a 60% chance of showers to lead into Monday.

Up at Big White, people can expect generally fair weather with periods of isolated flurries today and tonight. Saturday a high of -1°C, Sunday mainly cloudy with a high of -2°C!
