Due to a cold spring, organizers of the Bloom Tulip Festival in Armstrong are anticipating the field to be in low bloom when it opens on May 4.
As a result, Bloom Flower Festivals has limited the opening weekend hours from 9 am to 2 pm.
Those who purchased tickets for this first weekend can expect an email from the festival regarding the update, and anyone who purchased tickets for the Paint Night on May 5 should have already received an email.
Bloom Flower Festivals is reminding guests that they can also edit their tickets.
“If a soft opening isn’t for you, we totally understand,” they said. “Feel free to change your ticket dates up to 24 hours before your visit.”
Over 500,000 bulbs have been planted for the Bloom Tulip Festival, which will run from May 4 to 28.

Following the opening weekend, the festival is scheduled to be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 9 am to 6:30 pm, as well as Sundays and Mondays from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
