The body of a 67-year-old man was found in Kalamalka Lake on Saturday.
On August 8th at about 11:50 a.m., RCMP responded to Rattlesnake Point in Kalamalka Lake for a report of a body in the water. Vernon RCMP, BC Ambulance Services, and BC Coroners Service went to the scene, and there, the 67-year-old male was pronounced dead.

Police say that this death does not appear suspicious, and the BC Coroners Service has taken over the investigation. The man’s name is not yet being released.
A 32-year-old Lethbridge man was found dead in the lake on June 28th, and his death was also found to be not suspicious. The man, Shane Letkeman, was last known to be with 23-year-old Curtis Wilson, who was reported missing by his family.
