One of the most popular rock bands of the 1990s and early 2000s is coming to the Okanagan in 2017.
Weezer will be at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday, April 8th for Power 104’s Powerball.
They’ll be joined by The Trews and The Flatliners, making up a lineup that should provide a full night of great rock.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 20th and there’s two different price points, $57.50 and $77.50.
Weezer was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1992 and currently consists of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Scott Shriner.
Canada, we’re making our way up north for some headlining shows in a few new places we've never been this spring! https://t.co/VaixzLTpys pic.twitter.com/s3OlsRxX3l

They’ve sold 9.2 million albums in the U.S.A. and over 17 million records worldwide since their formation.
Their discography includes hits like Buddy Holly, Undone (The Sweater Song), Say It Ain’t So and Beverly Hills.
The Trews are one of Canada’s most successful rock bands of late, originally forming in the late ‘09s in Nova Scotia.
They’ve since relocated to Toronto and have earned 16 top 10 singles on the rock charts, including two #1 hits, in their career.
The Flatliners will lead off the April 8th show as the smallest of the three bands, but promise an energetic and exciting show at the SOEC.
Once they go on sale on Friday, tickets will be available at ValleyFirstTIX.com, the Valley First Box Office at the SOEC or over the phone by calling 1-877-SOEC-TIX (763-2849).
