This Is What Hope Looks Like (w/ NHL star Jordin Tootoo & Third Space Life Charity)
Third Space Life Charity invites you to an intimate evening with speaker, mental health advocate and NHL star (Nashville Predators, Detroit Redwings) Jordin Tootoo.
Hear Jordin share his journey from growing up in Nunavut, to being chosen by the Nashville Predators in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft while facing addiction and hopelessness in his own life. A trailblazer on and off the ice, Tootoo’s talks offer a moving and timely discussion of grit and resilience, goal-setting, overcoming adversity in the pursuit of excellence, and how life can be improved through meaningful stewardship.
Join us as we recognize National Suicide Prevention Week and help end the stigma surrounding mental health in the Okanagan. All proceeds and funds raised will go to the Third Space Community Care Program, which removes financial barriers, providing affordable clinical counselling to residents in need in the Okanagan area. In addition, all donations made at this event will be doubled, dollar for dollar by private donors.
Ticket includes a welcome beverage and hors d' oeuvres provided by Gather restaurant.
