We provide scholarships and bursaries for women. In addition to our projects we have fun general interest groups to join. Please see our website for more information: http://www.cfuwkelownaclub.org We are pleased to announce our guest speaker for our meeting is Dr. Sangita Sharma. Canadian Research Chair in Population Health and Professor in Indigenous and Global Health Research at University of Alberta and affiliate at UBCO. Dr. Sharma has over 30 years of experience working in over 20 countries with many indigenous groups around the world, especially in Arctic Canada, focusing on chronic disease, diabetes, and cancer prevention.
