Join us for Happy Hour at Sandhill Winery, every Friday from 5-8pm*
* Summer hours starting June 10
Happy Hour features include $5 glasses of our Sandhill White Label wines, $8 glasses of our premium Sandhill Small Lots wines, and $5 appetizers. Every two weeks we feature free live music , and pop-up cafes from visiting chefs.
Friday, June 17 features music by Lowell Friesen
Canadian contemporary singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lowell Friesen combines a tender-hearted sensitivity, an edgy simmering angst and a dash of tongue-in-cheek humour to his brand of modern/folk, alt/country music.
In the spring of 2015 Lowell released the independent self-funded 12 song record ‘Home …and Away’ and hit the road. Spanning 3 months and over 50 dates, Lowell travelled coast to coast across Canada delivering his folk fuelled gift to new friends and fans along the way.
2016 looks like another busy year of touring and writing. Simultaneously promoting ‘Home …and Away’ and gathering the songs for the sophomore CD, Lowell looks forward to spreading the love, the joy and the sorrow of the songs he sings. Driven by passion and fuelled by the love of music; compelled by creative living and a desire to share in the community of musicians and music lovers, Lowell is excitedly propelling himself into your future.
