Her ever flexible, near 4 octave voice has been compared to Susan Tedeschi, Beth Hart and Janis Joplin. Cat’s early mentors were Billie Holiday and Etta James. She has been honoured as Vocalist of the year twice by the Okanagan Arts Council and has been featured in Okanagan Life Magazine and Wild Life Magazine. Some of her Career highlights include support for Jeff Healey, Harpdog Brown, Trooper, Doug and the Slugs, ZZ Top and Countless others. She has released 2 CDs’ “Cat Wells Live with the Bowman Trio” and “Cat Wells – Bootleg Blues”. She is now set to release her new compilation “Anything and Everything” featuring artists Jason Buie, Johnny Ferreira (Colin James band) and (the late) Sonny Rhodes.
