Friends of Foes and Post-Modern Connection Live at Milkcrate Records
From the heart of Saskatchewan, Friends of Foes hit their listeners with a roaring wall of sonic talent. From soft, gentle melodies to full on audio assaults, the heavy drum lines and harmony-laden choruses mix musical finesse with raw power.
Having already shared the stage with some of Canada’s best bands, topping numerous “Best Of” lists, and drawing comparisons to Death Cab for Cutie and Stars, Friends of Foes is a relentlessly hard-working band dead set on carving a name for themselves in Canadian music through endless touring.
Post-Modern Connection has always aimed to challenge the idea of what it means to be musicians. They are constantly pushing the boundaries of various musical genres. The band draws inspiration from a wide variety of sources including, Hippocampus, Alabama Shakes, Fela Kuti, and James Vincent Mcmorrow. Each member comes from an international background each with his unique experiences that reflect the band’s unique sound. They are currently working on their debut EP Clustered Umbrella.
