Join Alana, our Indigenous Programming Assistant, on Sunday afternoons for a fascinating, hands-on look at syilx (Okanagan) culture and traditions. Get an up-close look at objects from our collection and take part in a hands-on activity or experience!
Suitable for all ages.
July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21, August 28: Salmon and Streams
Learn about the cultural significance of salmon and water to the syilx people and get a chance to hold a traditional syilx dip net! This is a family-friendly, hands-on experience so come explore and learn with us.
