Geering Up UBC-O S.T.E.M. Summer Camps
Open to all students entering grades 1-8 in September.
Geering Up UBC Engineering & Science for Kids is a non-profit organization with the mandate of promoting science, engineering and technology to youth across British Columbia.
Working with the University of British Columbia Okanagan, Geering Up Kelowna is excited to bring our STEM summer camps back to the UBCO campus in beautiful Kelowna for 2017!
Geering Up summer camps are all about making Science ,Technology, and Engineering hands-on and exciting. Each day is a dynamic mix of hands-on activities, demonstrations, tours, mentors, and design challenges. Our camps are taught by experienced university students with a passion for their field of study. Come let you inner Mad Scientist out in our Mad Scientist camps; explore design and engineering with MiniEng, or see the artistic side science and engineering with STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math)!
From July 10th to August 21st we are offer the following camps:
Mad Scientists:
- July 17-21
- Aug 14-18
MiniEng:
- July 10-14
- July 24-28
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math!):
- July 31-Aug 4 (Girls Only! week)
- Aug 21-24
